Dream or reality?

All of this of course depends on stakeholder alignment and the willingness and ability of clinicians (without undue burden) to collect reliable patient data.

The good news is that the Scottish Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre working closely with NHS Scotland has completed a successful pilot to do exactly that.

The results of this ground-breaking work were presented to the Scottish cross-parliamentary group for Life Sciences in early 2024 and AIM4ALL is now putting plans in place to propagate this thinking across a global network of like-minded Health Systems, initially, in the fields of cell therapy, gene therapy, cardiovascular disease and brain health.

The Remedium vision isn't just a dream, it's happening, and for all our sakes, that has to be a good thing:

  • for Health Systems so they can spend their limited budgets knowing they are going to get value-for-money;

  • for Manufacturers, so they can invest in innovation knowing they are going to get rewarded fairly; and, above all,

  • for Patients, knowing they can get fast access to the best treatments available.
